Internet of Things

By 2020, products and solutions IoT will spread throughout the world, via the Internet you will be able to control your "intelligent" home, check your athletic performance, or plan a route to work so that you can avoid the traffic restrictions. Amount of funding in this area will increase from $ 1.9 trillion in 2013 to 7.1 trillion in 2020.

Two-thirds of consumers plan to purchase technologies for intelligent household in 2019. Half of consumers plan to buy wearable electronics. We stepped toward the Internet of things, which is all over the fridge and TVs to running shoes and watches connected to the Internet.

Consumers expect their data to be available to whenever and wherever they want - whether it is a history of running or family photos. At the same time expect their data will be protected against loss and unauthorized access.

Companies collect and store more and more data about individuals, but there  is exerted on them ever greater pressure to be able to protect this data.

Implications for any company that is unable to prevent misuse of data by a third party, would be catastrophic.
